One-on-One Spanish Lessons

One-on-One Spanish Lessons in Managua, Granada & Masaya

The Spanish one-on-one lessons program is mainly offered in Managua city and near vicinities. It is the main and only linguistic product we offer in the capital of the country. The Instituto Lingüístico teachers are sent directly to the participant’s house, hotel, office, or apartment to avoid long distance rides in an unknown environment for a visitor. We do not have a school location in Managua but we do offer Spanish lessons with a private tutor one-on-one at the student’s own site.

The Instituto Lingüístico Inter-Cultural, as the pioneer in this kind of personalized service, offers reliable one-on-one classes and has trustful experienced instructors who will help you gain a quick advance in your Spanish. Spanish tutors available in Granada and Masaya; in Managua; at the beach in Masachapa, Pochomil, and Montelimar Beach Resort — and almost everywhere in Nicaragua upon request.

Available to missionaries, business people, foreign investors, and volunteers. The participants plan their own program to meet their needs at their own pace.

Academic programs

Universities & Colleges

Spanish for College & University Students in Granada–León

This program is oriented to students from public and private American and Canadian universities or colleges doing internships in Nicaragua through Non-Governmental Organizations. Focused on developing the four language skills — writing, listening comprehension, reading, speaking — in a practical and communicative way, the Spanish course promotes interaction with the Nicaraguan culture and the daily practice of the host language.

An oral and a written Spanish test are given at the beginning of the course to measure the student’s Spanish level and adapt the course for the class. Students are grouped generally in a 3–4 participant class as maximum and 1–2 student class as minimum depending on the level and number of registered students. The length of the program is the choice of the local representative host NGO or sponsoring University or College. Trinity College, Dordt College, and Calvet University are some of the American universities that have participated in this program.

Important: We are open, available, and willing upon request to organize any program and all the logistics for Universities interested in either a short-term or a Semester Academic Abroad Program in Nicaragua.
