After many years of being the strongest language program in Nicaragua, NSS disbanded in 2006 due to many intern conflicts with their massive instructors who had developed a commercial vision of the programs, and wanted somehow independence and decided to start their own business in the Spanish school new industry. That was the origin of all the spinoff schools in Granada, Leon and San Juan del Sur. Playas del Sur Spanish school in San Juan del Sur, was the first spinoff Spanish school, then Cocibolca Spanish School opened in Granada and Leon Spanish School of Nicaragua LSSN in León. Other small Spanish schools appeared later in San Juan del Sur such as Escuela Nicaraguita (2006) managed by the former Director of San Juan del Sur Spanish school NSS María Dolores Silva. Escuela Nicaraguita did not have such success and closed in 2007; another spinoff school San Juan del Sur Spanish School started operation managed by Verónica one of the Spanish instructors at the former NSS school. Casa Escuela “Rosa Silva” and “Ruben Dario” Spanish School also opened in 2006.
In the same years 2006-2007, more Spanish schools opened in Granada among them Ave Nicaraguita; also, the former Nicaragua Spanish Lessons School, – Instituto Lingüístico Inter-Cultural at present-, opened back in 2004, also developed its web site in middle 2006, this was the only school not originated from former NSS. Also in other locations, other independent Spanish schools were founded in San Juan del Sur caused by the boom, and some others spinoff schools from the first spinoff schools: Lago Azul Spanish school managed by Jenny, founded in 2006; Big Foot Spanish School in Tola beach town, Rivas (2007); in San Juan del Sur, the Spanish Corner School founded by Christian Rodríguez (2006), Latin American Spanish School managed by Vanessa Granados (2006); and Spanish Ya School (2007). In Granada, Cocibolca Spanish School disbanded in 2007 due also to intern conflicts between the instructors and that fact originated two new Spanish schools: Spanish School Express and Nicaragua Mía Spanish School both located in Granada city. That same year 2007 other Spanish schools emerged in Leon by the same reasons as in Granada among them Dariana Spanish School, and Metropolitana Spanish School.
Almost everywhere in San Juan del Sur, Granada, León and Estelí the same phenomenon occurred and new Spanish schools emerged. Every single of the former Spanish instructors wanted to have their own Spanish school as they saw business opportunities in this industry. APC´s Spanish Schools managed by the former Asociación de Promotores de Cultura also started school programs in León, Granada and San Juan del Sur. More independent Spanish schools also opened in 2008 among them Nicaragua Spanish Institute (NicaSpan) in Masaya, La Mariposa Spanish school in Ticuantepe, Hijos del Maíz Spanish school in El Lagartillo rural community in Achuapa, León.
