Alternatively, there’s this 14.2 km out-and-back trail from Diria. Or you just can take a taxi from entrada de la laguna to the Plan de laguna de Apoyo and start your hiking adventure. If you are staying in one of the hostals, you can walk from there. There are several other little walking trails into, within, and around the tropical forests of Laguna de Apoyo.
