December 7: National Celebration of La Gritería on honor of Virgin Maria, National Saint of Nicaragua. All of the Nicaraguans city except Granada.

National holidays in Nicaragua: January 1, Holly Thursday and Friday; May 1, July 19, September 15, December 8, 25. Classes are not held on these dates. The lessons not taught on these dates, will be re-scheduled on a convenient day for both the teacher and the students.
